Mrs. Odile Christman

Business Manager

Mrs. Thao M. (“Odile”) Christman is warm, people-oriented person who has raised four wonderful children who are now successful and on their own. She also has ten years of professional level working experience in a variety of capacities. These have ranged from managing the affairs of highly prominent, public figures–to supporting highly talented engineers and lawyers carrying out their essential functions–to being considered a key managerial staff member of a global humanitarian organization. She has held Top Secret clearances working for the Executive Office of the President of the United States, and has been the Mom-in-Chief for young interns aspiring to make a difference in their lives.

Odile Christman is highly accomplished in successfully bridging cultural boundaries. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, one of the top public universities in the United States. She accomplished this working entirely in her third language. Her mother tongue is Vietnamese, and she was educated in French growing up in Saigon. She has lived on three continents, most recently twelve years in Switzerland.

As the business manager for the Jiangsu-California Partnership Development Center in San Luis Obispo, Odile wants to make a difference in her own life, is eager to learn and grow, and to help others do the same.
